1. What Luxstay is
Luxstay is a travel data publisher and comparison engine for Southeast Asia. We are not a booking platform, do not handle payments, and do not enter into contracts on behalf of any traveler or property. When you click an affiliate link, you transact with the partner OTA under their own terms.
2. Information accuracy
We use structured sources (GeoNames, Wikipedia, government tourism offices, NOAA, the World Bank) and our own AI summarisation pipeline. Despite quality checks, content can be outdated or incorrect. Verify visa rules, prices, transport, and safety information with official sources before travelling. Climate windows are statistical guides, not guarantees.
3. Affiliate links & commissions
Some outbound links to partner OTAs are affiliate links — if you book through them, the partner pays us a commission. We do not re-rank destinations or stays for commission; methodology is documented at /methodology.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other users (rate limit: ~30 req/min per IP).
- Don't try to bypass affiliate-click attribution.
- Don't republish AI-generated content as your own without attribution.
- Open-data downloads at /data follow their own license — see that page.
5. Disclaimer of liability
The site is provided "as is" with no warranty. We are not liable for travel decisions made using our content. We are not liable for the actions of partner OTAs you book through. Where mandatory consumer-protection law applies in your jurisdiction, those rights are not affected.

Editorial text and structured data on Luxstay are © Luxstay, unless attributed otherwise. Wikipedia summaries are CC BY-SA; GeoNames data is CC BY 4.0; our own data downloads are released under permissive licenses documented inline.

Material changes are announced on /changelog and the newsletter. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
